Solvent Vapors Detector-Transmitter

  • Highly sensitive Photo Ionization Detector
  • Range 0...50 ppm or 0...300 ppm
  • 2 × 4-20 mA / 0-10 V, RS485
  • Relay option
  • Attached or remote sensor options

Volatile Organic Compounds detector-transmitter E2648-PID is a member of new PluraSens® family of multifunctional measurement instruments.

The instrument utilises highly sensitive photoionization detectors (PID) with extremely low minimal detection levels. The transmitter exhibits sensitivity to compounds with ionization potential less than 10.6 eV, i.e. to most solvent vapors.

To connect detector-transmitter to safety or building automation systems use two analog outputs and RS485 digital interface with industry standard Modbus RTU protocol. We recommend to set the output scale within 20-100% of the detection range.

Two relays with closing contact (option) may be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. Two alarm set-points are user settable.

The device is available with either attached or remote sensor probe (default cable length is 3 m).
